Reaching out to local schools

Throughout late 2005 and early 2006, Pam Bowerman, Vice President and Commercial Lender, made five visits to Mrs. Searles’s 3rd grade at the Longfellow Elementary School in Brunswick, ME. She spent time teaching the students about check writing, debit cards, what’s involved in starting your own business, and zoning regulations.

After she left, the students wrote her a series of charming thank-you cards. They were so good, we just had to share a few!
